Day 18 and that’s right, it took us a second to get there but we doubled down on Gibson too with this over the top tale that finds Mel Gibson as a too old for the game Santa who will have to fend for his life when a spoiled rich kid puts a hit on him after receiving a lump of coal on Christmas day. It’s ridiculous, it’s violent and it’s a pretty good time. Special mention to both Marianne Jean-Baptiste as Ruth and Walton Goggins who I personally think help the movie along the way. It came out last year but I didn’t watch it till a few months back and I thought it would make for a good weekend watch as we creep towards the end of our program.
